From beginning as a trained electrician and machine builder to studying Electronics & Communications Engineering, to working as the managing director of Universum GmbH and export manager at Harreither GmbH, DEng Albert Knotz MBA has gained a wide range of practical and theoretical experience in his professional career and has become a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for renewable energy. After completing his master's degree at the Sales Manager Academy in Vienna, he joined Welser Profile in 2007 to take on various tasks in research & development as well as in project management. Since 2009, DEng Albert Knotz has been in charge of the photovoltaic and solar thermal division. In addition to the sales tasks involving the management of major customers, he represents Welser Profile in the technology platform PV Austria, is an advisory member of the DIN standards committee in Germany, and is chairman of the Emmicom energy community in Waidhofen/Ybbs.
