Jörn Miklas

Jörn Miklas is a man made of steel who trained at Klöckner Stahlhandel GmbH until 1991. He started his career as a junior Sales Manager for flat steel products and also grabbed experience at the leading steel service center in Europe where he was responsible for sales for stainless steel strips, before he moved on to the world of tubular products, where he acted as an Account Manager at Rautaruuki tube works in Germany. In 2002 he started as Sales Manager Automotive at Welser Profile GmbH in Germany to sell Welser´s challenging products to the world of automotive applications. From 2010 until 2014 he became Managing Director at a leading company in the metal fabrication area selling pressed metal parts and welded assemblies. In 2014 he returned to Welser Profile Deutschland GmbH, where he has been responsible for central purchasing as Director of Supply Chain Management.
